Future Opportunities at KTF
Kolt Tebb Fabrications is always interested in connecting with thoughtful, professional tradespeople for future opportunities.
KTF is based in Carstairs, Alberta and specializes in high-quality welding repairs involving aluminum, stainless, and steel in both mobile and shop environments.
We care heavily about protecting customer equipment, communicating clearly, showing up prepared, and solving problems properly.
Who this is for
Experience levels may vary. The goal is to understand how you think, communicate, and approach work as a tradesperson or team member.
Good fit for:
- Apprentices who genuinely want to improve
- Journeymen who care about quality and professionalism
- People who think before they weld
- Tradespeople who communicate clearly and take ownership
- People who enjoy repair work and problem solving
- Shop helpers or coordinators who are organized and dependable
What matters here
- Protecting customer equipment
- Showing up prepared and on time
- Thinking through repairs properly
- Clean work and professional communication
- Taking responsibility when mistakes happen
- Improving continuously instead of pretending to know everything
How the process works
This is not a rushed hiring process. The goal is to slowly build relationships with strong people over time.
1. Open the assessment
Read through the KTF Trade Assessment carefully before starting.
2. Complete it thoroughly
Take your time and answer professionally. Clear communication matters.
3. Export and email it back
Send the completed assessment back as a PDF to tebbfabrications@gmail.com.
4. Future opportunities
Strong submissions may be kept on file and contacted later if opportunities open up.
TIG experience is helpful, but mindset matters more.
KTF does a large amount of TIG welding and repair work involving aluminum and stainless steel.
Not everyone applying is expected to already be highly experienced with TIG. Thoughtfulness, professionalism, accountability, and willingness to improve matter far more than pretending to know everything already.
Start with the trade assessment.
The assessment is the first step for anyone interested in future opportunities with KTF.
Completed assessments may be kept on file for future openings, phone calls, or practical evaluations.
