Mobile is great for:

How mobile welding works

Simple, photo-first process. No jargon. No surprises.

1. Send photos + location

Text 2–3 photos of the problem and tell me where the job is.

2. Get a package + travel quote

I’ll tell you which repair package fits and what the mobile visit fee will be. You’ll get a clear package price and a simple mobile visit fee, all written down before we book.

Rush Option: Same-day or next-day repairs available (extra fee applies). Quoted upfront.

3. Pick a day

Before I lock in the booking, you’ll text “APPROVED” to confirm the quote. Then we choose a day and time. I bring the tools, power, and safety gear.

4. Weld, cleanup, done

I do the repair, clean up the area, and walk you through what was done.

💸 Fast-Pay Reward: Pay within 24 hours of completion by e-transfer and I cover the GST.

Simple mobile pricing — quoted upfront

The $175 mobile add-on covers travel prep, load-out, arrival, setup, and teardown. Distance is billed at $3/km (one-way from Carstairs). Everything is quoted upfront before you approve the visit.

Example: ~20 km one-way

Local areas just outside Carstairs (e.g., Didsbury, Crossfield).

Mobile visit fee: $175 base + ~$60 distance (20 km × $3) ≈ $235.

Example: ~40 km one-way

Airdrie, North Calgary, Olds, and similar areas.

Mobile visit fee: $175 base + ~$120 distance (40 km × $3) ≈ $295.

Example: ~70 km one-way

Further rural calls and out-of-town mobile jobs.

Mobile visit fee: $175 base + ~$210 distance (70 km × $3) ≈ $385.

Do you bring your own power?

Yes. I bring everything needed to weld on-site. If I need to plug in, I’ll tell you before we book.

How do I know if mobile or shop is cheaper?

Text photos and your location. I’ll tell you which option will cost less and why. If mobile doesn’t make sense, I’ll say so.

What if the job is bigger than we thought?

If the scope grows mid-job, I pause and explain your options. You can upgrade to a bigger package or approve extra time at my standard rate before I continue.

What if I need it done today or tomorrow?

Same-day and next-day rush repairs are available when downtime would cost more than waiting. A rush fee applies, and I’ll quote it upfront when you text photos and your location.

What about weather or safety?

If weather or site conditions make welding unsafe, I’ll reschedule or suggest a shop repair instead. Safety comes first.
