How mobile welding works

1. Send photos + site address

Text 3–4 photos (wide + close-up), a quick note of what broke, and the site address.

2. I assign your package + mobile fee

I assign the correct fixed-price repair package based on your photos and location, then quote the mobile visit fee. Everything is written down before we book. (Rush option available — quoted upfront.)

3. Pick a day

Once you approve the written quote, we pick a day and time. I bring the tools, power, and safety gear.

4. Weld, cleanup, done

I complete the repair in one focused visit, clean up the area, and walk you through what was done.

Simple mobile pricing — quoted upfront

The $175 mobile add-on covers travel prep, load-out, arrival, setup, and teardown. Distance is billed at $3/km (one-way from Carstairs). Everything is quoted upfront before you approve the visit.

Most Calgary mobile repairs land around $650–$780 total (repair + travel). All quoted upfront before you say yes.

Farthest example (~60–80 km one-way)

Mobile visit fee: $175 base + $180–$240 distance (60–80 km × $3)

Standard Calgary visits (~45–75 km one-way)

Do you bring your own power?

Yes. I bring everything needed to weld on-site. If I need to plug in, I’ll tell you before we book.

How do I know if mobile or shop is cheaper?

Text photos and your location. I’ll tell you which option will cost less and why. If mobile doesn’t make sense, I’ll say so.

What if the job is bigger than we thought?

If the scope grows mid-job, I pause and explain your options. You can upgrade to a bigger package or approve extra time at my standard rate before I continue.

What if I need it done today or tomorrow?

Same-day and next-day rush repairs are available when downtime would cost more than waiting. A rush fee applies, and I’ll quote it upfront when you text photos and your location.

What about weather or safety?

If weather or site conditions make welding unsafe, I’ll reschedule or suggest a shop repair instead. Safety comes first.
